So instead of trying to get it out too early, do some of the following things to inspire yourself and help you get through the final stretch.

Exercise

When exercise is brought up, it’s not actual hardcore exercise. Things like walking, pelvic rotations, stretches, and other simple moves are usually recommended so that you can keep your body moving and the blood pumping despite your lack of mobility. An exercise ball can be a light and easy way to get some good moves going.

It will usually be all you can do just to walk around, so don’t try to overdo. Let your husband, friends, and family help you. Hire help if you need to. Take extra time to rest and spend time with those you love, because once the new baby comes, you won’t have time for anything but the newborn.

Have Fun with Baby Prep

Doing things like picking out baby names and looking over what supplies you have for when the baby comes can be fun and distracting.
