How to use drugs?

Regarding the use of drugs to fight against fever experts Afssaps are very clear and it is important to remember several key messages:

It should give one antipyretic drug (medicine against fever). If you start with an antipyretic, do not give it another three hours later. Remember, neither association nor alternation!
If your child was guarded by a nanny or grandparents, always check that another drug has not already been given in another form (present in a syrup or suppository for example).
Always follow the dosage and the number of shots given.
Four treatments are available to fight against the child’s fever. These are:
The paracetamol ;
Ibuprofen and ketoprofen (the latter is available only on prescription) and they both belong to the class of anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs);
Aspirin is also an NSAID, but in recent years, is less used in children.
